This project will explore the issues involved in designing a coherent and effective system for open government in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Funded by the New Zealand Law Foundation, the project is independently led by Andrew Ecclestone, a Senior Associate at the Institute for Governance and Policy Studies at Victoria University of Wellington.

The project began in October 2020, and will be completed by the end of December 2021.
